Bio

Hi everyone:) I am Jagan, and I have joined Dr. Cecere’s laboratory as a PhD student. Previously, I worked as a junior researcher in Dr. Kavita Babu’s laboratory (Indian Institute of Science), where I tried to understand the importance of post-transcriptional regulation in neurons of C. elegans. In my PhD, I will explore the terrain of epigenetic inheritance using C. elegans as a model system. Apart from research, I like reading books and am currently exploring other hobbies. With enthusiasm brimming, I eagerly anticipate forging new connections within the Pasteur community and fostering meaningful friendships along the way.
